VEAR Toward Success Blog
As a self professed goals junkie, I've worked as: a firefighter in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, an air ambulance helicopter paramedic and supervisor in Canada's nation's capital, Ottawa, a whitewater raft guide in the Canadian Arctic, the French Alps, and the Rocky Mountains, and now I'm self employed on top of being a college instructor and minister. I have an undergrad degree in biology, a Master's Degree in business and a few college diplomas. I built my own off-the-grid, 6,000 square feet home. I've raced Ironman triathlons and multi-day adventure races. Most recently I've taken a wild horse (Xena) and trained her to saddle. I succeeded in all of these endeavours using Vision, Energy, Attitude and Resolve and in 2009 I wrote and published a book on this very subject. And now, I've created a Vear2Success blog. V.E.A.R. is not a one-off occurrence, it's an ongoing lifestyle of continuous success. This blog will be journal of these events.
