Canadian Outdoor Leadership Training for Teens

Corporate Synergy is proud to announce its new youth leadership program, COLTT, Canadian Outdoor Leadership Training for Teens.

This program is currently under development but details are expected to be released before the end of October, 2007.

We plan to start small to ensure quality programming. In 2008 we expect to offer one 14-day outdoor experiential training program for 8 youths aged 14-17 years old.

The first week will take place at the Ark and participants will learn camping basics, rope systems, map and compass navigation, team dynamic skills and communication, and basic first aid. The second week will involve a 6-7 day canoe trip in la Verendrye Wildlife Reserve.

Students "graduating" from this course will leave an increased understanding of the natural environment, increased camping and outdoors skills, an increased understanding of themselves, improved leadership skills, greater self confidence, and an increased ability to function as part of a greater team.

Our initial estimate for cost of this course is $1000 per participant for the 2 week program. This cost will cover all instruction, all their food, park fees, and the majority or required equipment.
